• photosensitive skin rash, arthralgias, renal disease (glomerulonephritis, etc)

Dx

• ANA (Antinuclear Ab) sensitive for SLE but not specific

• anti-dsDNA Ab (Anti-double stranded DNA Ab) highly specific for SLE (+ in 60% of SLE)

• anti-snRNPs (anti-Smith Ab, small nuclear ribonucleoprotein Ab) highly specific for SLE (+ in 20-30% of SLE)
